PRP's Limit Strap Kit for Kawasaki KRX 1000 kit provides you with hardened bolts that are longer than OEM, along with new washers and powder coated spacers for the limit straps. The limit straps are PRP quad layer limit straps, which have been proven over the years with Trophy Trucks and Class 1 buggies. Limiting Strap Information Limiting straps are vital in custom suspension setups that help prevent damage to suspension and drivetrain components. Without limiting straps, your shocks are the stops at maximum droop. The shock from your vehicle’s un-sprung weight can cause damage to shocks such as when jumping or at high speed over rough sections. Limiting straps can also prevent damage to your CV joints by limiting the amount of maximum angle on your axles. All CV joints have a maximum amount of degree deflection that they can safely be run at with custom suspension setups. With many suspension setups, the deflection angle can go farther than the CV joint can handle resulting in damage, shorter run life, and CV failure. Includes 4 longer shock bolts (M12 X 1.75 X 110MM for front, M12 X 1.75 x 110MM for rear) 4 shock bolt washers (M12 Flat) 4 shock bolt spacers powder coated black (1" for front, 1.5" for rear) 4 shock bolt nuts (M12 X 1.75) 2 PRP quad layered limit straps (32" for front, 39" for rear)

PRP's Quad Layer Limit Straps protect your suspension while off-road! WHY DO YOU NEED LIMIT STRAPS Limiting Straps are vital in custom suspension setups that help prevent damage to your vehicle's suspension and drivetrain components. Just as bump stops are used to prevent damage to your suspension when it is traveling upwards, limit straps are used to protect your suspension when traveling downwards. When your vehicle goes off a jump or travels through rough terrain - the suspension drops down all the way (full droop). As the vehicles shock is fully extended, it causes all the weight of the wheels, tires, arms, axles, calipers etc. to pull down on the shock - putting all that force on the internal stop inside the shock housing. Over time this can cause stress and potential damage to your very expensive shocks. Limit Straps work by slightly limiting the distance the suspension can fully drop down. The strap is designed to be slightly shorter than the maximum distance of your suspensions full droop. So the limit strap takes the brunt of that weight/force, rather than your expensive shocks. Limiting straps can also prevent damage to your CV joints by limiting the amount of maximum angle on your axles. All CV joints have a maximum amount of degree deflection that they can safely be run at with custom suspension setups. With many suspension setups, the deflection angle during full droop can go farther than the CV joint can handle - resulting in damage, shorter run life, and CV failure. Limit Straps can be used to shorten the distance that your suspension can fully drop down, so that the CVs no longer bind or become damaged. PRP Limit Straps are made from Quad Layers of thick webbing so that they can absorb the weight/force of the suspension during extreme off-roading (10,000lbs rating). Each strap features heavy duty tab ends with 1/2" bolt holes that are coated black to blend in (and look cool). These limit straps have been tried and tested over millions of mil

The Progressive Suspension 944 Ultra Low with the Quik Preload System (QPS) makes adjusting the preload on PS-944 Series shocks easier than ever before. With QPS, it's no longer necessary to take saddlebags off to adjust the sag when going from a single rider, to a two up riding configuration, and then back to a solo riding experience. This means the suspension can be set up for changes in weight load in less than a minute, couple this with the patented Frequency Sensing Technology (FST), and the result is a perfect ride every time. With 30 complete turns of fine-tuning preload adjustment, the maximum performance of the suspension can be dialed in with a few twists of an 8mm socket. The 944 Ultra Low with QPS utilizes a sealed gear drive to smoothly adjust preload and offers the same range of preload adjustment as the original 944 series shocks. Like all 944 Series shocks, the 944 Series with QPS comes with a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

The 944 ultra low is lowest version of our 944 Series shocks. Designed to sit 2 in. lower than a stock HD Touring model and provide the best ride a short shock can! There is no substitute for suspension travel, for optimum ride quality we recommend the taller Ultra Touring version of our 944 Series shocks. The 944 Ultra Low shocks are available in 2 configurations: Standard Weight and Heavy-duty (250+ lbs.).
